A Few Basics to keep in mind with Grease Traps -
Grease Traps are a very Important to Kitchen's Drainage System.
Wastewater comes from Sinks,Garbage Disposals,
& Floor Drains - which contains various amounts of Grease & oils.
The Grease passes through drain pipes
that lead to the Grease Trap.
The Job of the Grease Trap is to slow the flow of
Water & Allow the Grease to cool.
Once Grease is cooled - It then rises to the
top of the Trap because it is lighter than Water.
A Large percent of grease & oils are then contained in the Grease Trap.
